Hello Everyone!

Today I am going to talk about my life in college. I thought it would be interesting to talk about because everyone has a different experience. In just a couple weeks I will be entering my second year of college at Spelman College! I wish I would have shared my experiences a while ago because I have so much to share, but no worries I will share with you my freshmen year experience. Time for a flashback!

I came into the beautiful gates of Spelman not knowing exactly what to expect. I guess everyone has a general idea of what the college life is like but you never really know until you go through it yourself. I have to say, like most people my age I was excited about life on my own especially living in Atlanta. What a great place to be in and experience college. There is great shopping, great restaurants, and not to mention all the great people you can and will meet. It seems like everyone is always on their A game. There are endless possibilities and opportunities all around. As you can tell I love Atlanta!

Anyway just to give you a glimpse of my freshmen year I will sum it up for you all. I did meet some amazing people and I had and still do have great friends that I was able to share many experiences with. I met students from Morehouse, Clark, and of course Spelman and people from other colleges around Atlanta. I had great professors and maybe one or two not so great professors. I got along well with my roommates. The food in the cafe was not great but it was not bad either. Everyone seemed to be really friendly and I learned so much about myself that I never knew before. Overall I have had an experience that I will never want to forget!

To end for the day my advice to you if you are already in college or soon to be in college, no matter what college you decide to go to or whatever you are about to experience, always remember to go in with an open mind. If you do not you may miss out on something or someone who can change your life for the better!
